Lukas Says

It's been so long since I've blogged & so long since I've taken any pictures. I'm trying to keep the "Reading" list updated so you can see what fun books we've found at the library. I usually just post the ones that Lukas requests night after night. I try to throw in other books just to spice it up for me. Tonight I read Big Bad Bunny for the second time today so I told Lukas I was going to read it in a funny voice. That was actually hard to keep up through the whole book, but I did pretty well.

The title of the post is "Lukas Says" and I'm going to try & remember some of the funny stuff he says and put it on the blog under this title from now on.

Lukas' new thing is to come to our bedroom when he wakes up and say something like...

"I'm hungry"

"I've got a good idea, I would like a couple of grapes and a couple of chocolate milk"

I don't know if he's trying to say "cup of chocolate milk", but he's said this line many a morning. What a nutritious breakfast :)

Another conversation might go like this:

L: I'm gonna tell you a secret
M[ommy]: Okay, what is it?
L: It's a animal
M: Okay, what animal?
L: A possum

And that's it. Some secret keeper I am, eh?
