Lukas Turns 2!

Our little man is now a "terrible two". He's walking & talking & making lots of messes. Such fun. Here are some pictures from the day before his birthday and the morning of his birthday.

Here are some pictures from his birthday evening with Nanna, Mommy & Daddy. We went out for pizza at Damgoode Pies. Afterward we picked up one of Lukas' favorite desserts - fruit & yogurt parfaits from McDonald's.

And finally, here are the pictures from Lukas' super-fun birthday party at Party Central in Benton. Grandpa Haddock took these for us.

Nanna's Birthday & The Pumpkin Patch

I'm afraid my blog has turned into a simple photo album. So, here's some more album pages...

Nanna's Birthday

The Pumpkin Patch

You'll see people like Nanna, Grandma Barb, Kevin, Kellie, Lukas & Mommy in these pictures. Sorry, no captions.

Here's a picture my little brother, Kevin took at the pumpkin patch. At first glance, I thought it was lame, but then I noticed my face at the bottom right and thought it was kind of cool. Too bad I had my face all scrunched up.

New Toys

Rich & I have recently acquired new iPhones and they are super-cool. Here's some pictures I took with my iPhone...

Earlier there was a glitch in the link due to the upgrade of iPhoto - fixed it!

Also, I'm updating my iPhoto software which has involved lots of backing-up of files - and losing a few along the way :( When I get all the kinks worked out, I'll have Lukas' birthday pictures up on the web!

Also, congratulations to my sister & brother-in-law, also known as Aunt Ginger & Uncle Allen - they are expecting their first baby! In about 8 more months.

Hiking, Camping & Spiders

Touched by an angel or just a bad picture?

This weekend we went to Mt. Nebo. We being Lukas, Daddy & Mommy. We hiked the Bench Trail around the top of the mountain. It's about 4 miles long and very easy. We stayed in a hike-in camp site about 3/4 of the way around the mountain. Lukas didn't do much walking and he wasn't interested in doing much sleeping either. There was screaming, crying and kicking when we enforced the going to bed business. He finally rolled over on top of me and whimpered, then fell asleep. He wouldn't walk any on Sunday so Rich carried him a while and then I put him on my shoulders until he leaned over on my head and tried to sleep. My neck was not designed to support a 28 pound hat. I'm posting my pictures, but in the interest of time, I'm not putting captions on them. You know who we are and what all the camping stuff is!

P.S. Thanks to Jessica & Beckett for loaning us the Ergo baby carrier - it rocks! Although there are no pictures of it, Lukas slept for about a mile using the "sleeping hood" to hold up his floppy head.

Aunt Amelia's Birthday

Kolby pulling Devon & Lukas

On Saturday, September 22nd we celebrated Aunt Amelia's 21st Birthday. She's just a baby! We went to Grandma Susie's for burgers, chips, dips, and cake & ice cream. Lukas played with his cousins and his hair got super-curly in the heat.
