Tagged

Okay, I’m an official blogger now because I’ve been “tagged” (Thanks Jess). I’m supposed to go to imbd.com (for my parents, that stands for Internet Movie Database) and look up 10 of my favorite shows, then list 3 of their plot keywords, then you have to figure out what shows they are. I’m going to put my own twist on this one though… these are not necessarily my FAVORITE shows, but they are the things that I’m recording on my DVR at this time (and watching). These do not include any shows that Rich records (space shows)… good luck!

1. hospital / medical / janitor
2. comedy writer / boss / page
3. accountant / private detective (sorry, there were only 2)
4. awkward / Pennsylvania / tension
5. this one had no keywords, so here are some message board posts:
a. Wanda Sykes makes this show worth watching
b. The Other Brother Episode 3-19-07
c. I just find this series a load of US crap.
6. Cleaning Lady / Immaturity / Stalker
7. Asian Stereotype / Actor Playing Multiple Roles / Magazine Tie In
8. culture / sketch comedy / satire
9. Yet another one without keywords, so here are the 4 main characters:
a. Annie
b. June
c. Quincy
d. Leo
10. obsessive compulsive / crime / murder

Since most of my blog fans are non-bloggers (aka grandparents), I won’t be tagging anyone.

Easter 2007

Lukas was big enough to hunt Easter Eggs this year - hooray! On Thursday before Easter we went to Nanna's for a cookout and early egg hunt. Lukas caught on fast to picking up the eggs and putting them in the basket.

Friday night we went to Uncle Kenny's in Purdy, MO. We arrived around 1:45am Saturday. Yuck! Lukas didn't sleep too much on the way. His sleep schedule got really messed up on this trip. We stayed until Tuesday, then headed home. But not before we visited Lukas' great-great Aunt Celia. She & Lukas share the same birthday, but she's 99 years older than he is! Last year Lukas celebrated the big 1 while she celebrated the big 100. Wow! We got to look at a lot of her old family photos, they were wonderful.

Happy Birthday Bryan & Jessica!

Sunday was Bryan's birthday and he & I went to Damgoode Pies for dinner. Today is Jessica's 30th birthday and her loving husband, Ken, threw her a birthday party. Lukas went with us and he got to see Hester, who is 2 years old, and Vagabond the dog. Lukas was most interested in the strawberry birthday cake though. It was a mighty fine birthday cake.

Also, I took a couple videos with my digi-cam tonight and decided to start a YouTube account. That way it won't take 3 days to download one of my videos. I'll put up a post when I'm ready to debut my videos.

You can be 29 as many times as you like Jess.

Spring Break

Lukas & Kevin Sharing a Snack

Spring break is over for my little brother & sister - tomorrow will be back to school. Kevin spent part of his spring break with us. We picked him up Wednesday night and he stayed until today. We didn't do much - video games, DVDs, a little bit of yard work, a trip to Allsopp Park, and Kevin bought some new shoes. Dad & Kellie came to pick him up today and we all went out in the back yard to play Cosmic Catch and toss around a styrofoam airplane that Nanna gave Lukas. Nanna came and picked Lukas up right before the rest of the gang left today. I told her I was in need of a BREAK. I don't know how people cope with more than one child!

Check out all the spring break pictures here.
