The Pictures Are Here

Alaskan cruise pictures await you at the *click* of your mouse! They are not in order, but they do have comments. They also have ads :( because I haven't spent the money to pay for hosting. I said I'd do that after 30 posts, which I've done, but I haven't paid up yet. You can do a manual slideshow by clicking on the first picture (or any picture) and using the right arrow to look at them individually.

Whew, I can finally cross that off the list.

I'm an Aunt!

Congratulations to me for becoming an Aunt Tuesday night. Oh, and Congratulations to my step-sister, Whitney, for giving birth to a 9lb 5oz baby boy named Devon. Lukas & I waited around the hospital with family most of the day Tuesday, but Devon did not make an appearance until after we went home. I could have stayed all night, but Lukas was whining about wanting dinner and a bath and he wanted to go to bed. What a baby.

Tomorrow I will go back to the hospital and take pictures (if I can find the digi-cam).

We Won, We Won, We Won!

Lukas & I have won a contest - and not just our names drawn out of a hat! A few months ago I entered a contest to have a bookplate designed just for Lukas and all his books... and we won! I'm so excited that I decided to get back in the blogging world since that's where I found the contest. You can see the blog post announcing our win (but not our names) at LonePrairie.net. She'll be posting the bookplate on her site after she designs it for us.

I'd post some new snapshots of Lukas, but I can't find my camera. I'm still working on Alaska. I stink.

We're Still Home

I'm still working on the Alaska pictures. I'm figuring out how to export them from iPhoto to my web page without having to use a service like winkflash. I'm in the process of putting comments on them. Almost done. I took the film to Target to be developed and put on CD, and they did, except for 3 of the CDs came back blank. I had to figure out which negatives didn't have a CD, then take them back and have them done. I just got that done today. The thing I have to figure out now is whether to take the time to put the pictures in order. It looks like a major job. I don't know how they get so mixed up on iPhoto.

Here's a photo for you now: Lukas at my Aunt Mary's house on her stuffed animal bed. Can you find him?
